About Fyllo:

Fyllo (www.fyllo.in) is an early-stage Agritech start-up working on IoT, machine learning-based risk mitigation solutions for agriculture. Using real-time farm data coming from IoT devices, we help farmers take on-farm decisions in irrigation, sprays for disease, pests, and fertigation.

We are focused on horticulture crops and working on increasing production quality and quantity at a lower cost of cultivation.

About The Job

  • Role — Would be head of sales for the territory/district depending on the size of the business.
  • Executing the sales process for the region both B2B and B2C including planning and executing the demand generation activities.
  • Identify, appoint, and handle the channel partners
  • Execute channel promotion and business promotion schemes to ensure sales maximization.
  • Manage collections and receivables.
  • Work with the RM, regional agronomist, and the product development team to execute the market development activities.
  • Provide feedback to the RM on product pricing, competitor activities, and how to counter those.

Requirements-Qualifications/Skills

  • The candidate should be B.SC(Agri)/B.Tech (Agri) with 5 plus years of experience and a good academic record right through from his school.
  • Should have worked in large agri-input companies in sales and marketing and heading a district for at least 3 years.
  • Strong commercial acumen, team, and channel handling experience.
  • Good communication skills and decent fluency in English, Hindi, and a regional language (Marathi for Mah preferable)
  • Basic computer skills with MS Office
  • The role requires extensive traveling of more than 20 days a month

Regional Agronomist

  • Has to use his sound agronomy knowledge in the crops that he is working on to guide the farmers to take maximum advantage of using the Fyllo’s devices to improve their crop yields and farm profitability.
  • Provide after-sales advisory to the farmers by making regular visits to their farms and solving any queries or complaints.
  • Work with the crop modelling and analytics team in improving the accuracy of the models by providing ground valuable data from the farms.
  • Participate in group meetings arranged by the sales and product development teams in existing or new markets and explain the product offering.
  • Keep himself/herself abreast of the latest introductions of products/molecules or practices across the globe which would help him/her provide valuable guidance to the farmers.

Requirements-Qualifications/Skills

  • Candidate should be M.Sc/M.Tech (Agri) with 5 plus years of experience and a strong academic record right through from his school.
  • Should have worked in large agri-input companies/MNCs preferably in an Agronomist role.
  • Good communication skills and decent fluency in English, Hindi, and a regional language(Marathi for Mah/Gujarati for Guj preferable)
  • Basic computer skills with MS Office
  • The role requires extensive traveling of more than 15 days a month
